Puremelt Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • 200g salted butter
  • 200g Puremelt (raw) chocolate
  • 35g raw cacao powder (available from health food stores)
  • 3 eggs
  • 85g coconut shreds
  • 190g coconut palm sugar
  • 100g organic hazelnuts or almonds

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C
  2. Blend butter and chocolate then melt together.
  3. Add cacao butter and eggs and mix together
  4. Add coconut palm sugar and coconut and blend together
  5. Add nuts and and incorporate into mix and blend gently
  6. Pour into brownie moulds and cook for 13 minutes, then turn down heat to 160 C and cook for a further 3 minutes.
  7. Allow them to cool fully , then can be kept frozen.
