Puremelt Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients
- 200g salted butter
- 200g Puremelt (raw) chocolate
- 35g raw cacao powder (available from health food stores)
- 3 eggs
- 85g coconut shreds
- 190g coconut palm sugar
- 100g organic hazelnuts or almonds
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180C
- Blend butter and chocolate then melt together.
- Add cacao butter and eggs and mix together
- Add coconut palm sugar and coconut and blend together
- Add nuts and and incorporate into mix and blend gently
- Pour into brownie moulds and cook for 13 minutes, then turn down heat to 160 C and cook for a further 3 minutes.
- Allow them to cool fully , then can be kept frozen.
